Oshkosh 3-Peats as Midwest 10 Champions (2-26-24)
The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh won the Midwest 10 Conference Championship for the third straight time this past weekend (Feb. 24-25) at the University of Notre Dame.
The Titans went 2-3 on day one, with two 2-point, third set losses. They beat University of Chicago (17-25, 25-19, 15-6) and DePaul University (25-21, 25-23), and lost to Marquette University (25-22, 22-25, 14-16), University of Notre Dame (20-25, 25-23, 9-15) and Northern Illinois University (27-29, 25-22, 15-17).
The Titans rallied on day two going 3-0 to defend their crown. They defeated Marquette University (25-21, 21-25, 15-13) in the opening match, then beat their host, University of Notre Dame, (25-22, 27-25) in the semi-final, and Loyola University-Chicago (21-25, 25-22, 15-12) in the championship match.
Next up for the Titans is a WVC Playdate in La Crosse on Satruday, March 2.
