Oshkosh Sweeps Platteville on Alumni Night (3-6-16)
The UW-Oshkosh men's volleyball team held its lead in the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference with a 3-0 sweep over fourth-place UW-Platteville on Saturday (March 5) in Oshkosh. The Titans won in set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-13.
UW-Oshkosh (27-3 / 11-0 WVC) improved to 33-1 in sets played in conference. Tyler Range (Sr. - Kenosha) led the Titans with nine kills on 10 attempts and added five blocks. Allen Grunert (Jr. - Muskego) added seven kills and four blocks, Alec Redlich (Sr. - Wauwatosa) provided seven kills and two service aces and Eaven Mason (Fr. - Milwaukee) totaled five kills and four blocks.
Travis Hudson (Sr. - Wauwatosa) dished out 28 assists and had five service aces and four blocks. Sam Moua led the team with eight digs and Sammy Pedersen (Jr. - Muskego) had two service aces.
For the night UW-Oshkosh had 38 kills, 11 service aces, 24 digs and 19 blocks.
