UW-Oshkosh Improves to 10-0 in the WVC (3-3-16)
The UW-Oshkosh men's volleyball team swept UW-Whitewater 25-18, 25-14, 25-17 in Wisconsin Volleyball Conference to improve to 10-0 in the league on Wednesday (March 2) in Whitewater. With the win the Titans improve to 30-1 in sets played in conference and 26-3 overall in matches on the season.
UW-Oshkosh, ranked seventh in the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation Division I, was led by Allen Grunert (Jr. - Muskego) with nine kills on 12 attempts, while adding three service aces and three blocks.
Travis Hudson (Sr. - Wauwatosa) dished out 28 assists and had seven kills, three service aces and five digs. Sammy Pedersen (Jr. - Muskego) added six kills and three blocks, Eaven Mason (Fr. - Milwaukee) led the team with six blocks and also had five kills and Alec Redlich (Sr. - Wauwatosa) finished with eight kills and five digs.
Tyler Range (Sr. - Kenosha) provided three blocks and two service aces and Sam Moua (Jr. - Appleton) led the team with six digs. The Titans finished with 38 kills, 9.5 blocks and 25 digs.
