UW-Oshkosh Dominates UW-Stout in Last Play Date Match (2-14-16)
UW-Oshkosh remained undefeated on the season and in the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference with a dominating 25-7, 25-10, 25-10 victory over UW-Stout in the last match of the day at the WVC Play Date on Saturday (February 13) in La Crosse. The Titans improved to 16-0 overall and 7-0 in the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference and now have a 52-match winning streak.
The Titans were led by Allen Grunert (Jr. - Muskego) who had 17 kills on 24 attempts for a .583 hitting percentage and Tyler Range (Sr. - Kenosha) was a perfect seven for seven in kills in only one set played. John Collins (Fr. - New Berlin), Devin Hudson (Fr. - Wauwatosa) and Travis Hudson (Sr. - Wauwatosa) each had five kills as the Titans had 47 kills in the match.
Travis Hudson dished out 39 assists and Sam Moua (Jr. - Appleton) led the team with 10 digs. Grunert tallied four blocks, Devin Hudson had three blocks and Travis Hudson finished with two stuffs. Moua rallied off 13 straight points in set one with a total of three service aces during the run.
Next up for the Titans is the Midwest Ten Conference Play Date and Tournament Championship next weekend (February 20-21) in DeKalb, Illinois.
