UW-Oshkosh Continues to Dominate WVC (3-4-13)
The UW-Oshkosh men's volleyball team claimed a share of its fifth straight Wisconsin Volleyball Conference regular season title with a 25-22, 25-18, 20-25, 25-22 victory over UW-Stout in a match held on Sunday (March 3) in Menomonie.

UW-Oshkosh (33-1; 10-0), ranked #1 in the latest NCVF Division I national poll, needs to win only one of its remaining four WVC matches to claim the title outright. During its current five year reign on top of the WVC, the Titans have a glossy 45-1 record in regular season matches.

The Titans were led by the middle blocking duo of Dan Ruys (Gr. - Kimberly) and Jake Ahnert (So. - Burlington) who led the team with 14 and 11 kills, respectively. Travis Hudson (Fr. - Wauwatosa) dished out a 38 assists and added three blocks and two service aces.

Shane Heyrman (So. - Green Bay) added nine kills, Wesley Morioka (Fr. - Chicago, Ill.) provided a team leading four service aces and five digs and Ruys led the team with seven blocks. Ahnert added three solo blocks and Bill Meidenbauer (Sr. - Waukesha) had four digs and two service aces.
