Galazewski played for Franklin High School under the tutelage of Chris Dibb where he was a four-year high school player. He played for Next Level Volleyball Club for head coach Megan Galonski, a former UW-Oshkosh player.
Galazewski will be a four-year member of the Sabers golf team. He is the son of Karen Grimm-Nilsen and Joseph Galazewski and is undecided on his intended major.
When asked why he chose UW-Oshkosh Galazewski said, "UW-Oshkosh offers me a great opportunity to explore careers and majors, play volleyball and meet new people."
"Jake is a diamond in the rough," stated Schaefer. "He is an athletic kid that will probably start off on our Division II team. Our program is known for the development of somebody like Jake and we are happy that he wants to continue his playing career in a Titans uniform."
