13th Annual Oshkosh Volleyball Alumni Weekend Details (1-2-11)
The 13th Annual Oshkosh Volleyball Alumni Weekend is set for January 7-8, 2011. We are starting again on Friday at The Bar of Oshkosh for a Sheepshead Tournament at 7:00 p.m. Even if you do not play the game come out for fun with former teammates and friends. The cost of the tournament is $15.00 and it includes beverages.
On Saturday we will be hosting a luck of the draw tournament at The Bar of Oshkosh starting at noon. ANYBODY (friends, family) can play, and even if you do not play volleyball anymore, come out and have fun with everybody on this special event. We will be having a 50/50 raffle and a few other raffles to help raise money in behalf of Amy Cayemberg, a hall of fame volleyball player that died in a car accident about a month ago. All money raised during alumni weekend will be donated to the Marty Petersen endowment fund in Amy's name.
The tournament will cost $20.00 and we will be giving out UW-Oshkosh apparel for the winners. We hope lots of people come out and play or watch the action.
We will not be charging alumni dues this year, so please come out for this great event. Again, all money donated or raised will go towards an endowment fund put in place to benefit both the men's and women's program. After the tournament we will head down to campus for more festivities.
