Tyler Wiedenhoeft Plans On Attending UW-Oshkosh (1-4-11)
Tyler Wiedenhoeft, a 5-8 libero from Mequon, Wisconsin will be joining the UW-Oshkosh men's volleyball team in the fall of 2011 announced head coach Brian Schaefer.

Wiedenhoeft joins Mitchell Lahmann in the 2011-2012 Titans recruiting class.

"I was told about Tyler by his high school coach and former UW-Milwaukee player Jason Evans," said Schaefer. "Jason told me that Tyler had a great work ethic and would be an asset to our team. In seeing him play at our practice I agreed as he did some good things and jumped right in during drills and scrimmage."

Tyler played varsity volleyball at Homestead High School for three seasons and was named to the North Shore Conference second-team in 2010. His Highlander squad reached the WIAA sectional finals the last three seasons.

Tyler has also has success in both baseball and track and field at Homestead High School, earning varsity letters for two seasons in each sport.

The son of Jeff and Debbie Wiedenhoeft, Tyler is a member of the National Honors Society and plans on majoring in business at UW-Oshkosh.

"I choose UW-Oshkosh because it has a very nice campus with everything within a relatively small walking distance. UW-Oshkosh also has a great business department and volleyball program and it felt like the place to go for me."
