Senior Titans Honored (4-6-06)
As the end of another season and school year draws near it comes time to recognize those team members that will be graduating and moving on to life after Oshkosh Volleyball.

Phil Brace
2006: Led the Division II team to a fourth consecutive junior varsity regular season title with a 7-0 record ... Helped the team to an undefeated record against non-NIRSA Division I opponents ... Starting as a left side hitter helping the Division II team to a fifth place finish at the University of Iowa Classic ... In WVC play has 12 service aces in 13 games played. 2005: Was a member of the WVC Division II team that won the junior varsity regular season and WVC state championship titles ... Helped the team to a third place result at the NIRSA Division III national championship ... Tallied 162 kills, 175 digs, 20 service aces and 33 blocks in 111 games played. 2004: Was a member of the WVC Division II team that won the junior varsity regular season and WVC state championship titles ... Collected 142 kills on 349 attempts ... Contributed 75 assists, 31 service aces, 19 blocks and 201 digs in 91 games played. 2003: Helped the Division III team to a 3rd place finish at the WVC junior varsity state championships ... Accumulated 61 kills in 143 attempts for a .294 hitting percentage ... Collected 397 assists, 24 service aces, 107 digs and 20 blocks in 50 games played.

Joshua Groh
2006: Starting right side for the Division III team and amassing 51 kills in 106 attempts in 17 games played in WVC action. 2005: Newcomer to the sport that started as a right side hitter for the Division III team ... Helped the Division III team to a fourth straight third place finish at the WVC state championships ... Amassed 87 kills, 23 digs, nine service aces and 21 blocks in 45 games played.

Personal: Graduated from Menomonee Falls High School ... Four-year participant in basketball in high school ... Will graduate in the spring of 2006 with a degree in communications... Son of Ruth and Terry.

Jordan Jung
2006: Led the Division II team to a fourth consecutive junior varsity regular season with a 7-0 record ... Helped to the team to an undefeated record against non-NIRSA Division I opponents ... Helped the Division II team to a fifth place finish at the University of Iowa Classic ... In WVC play corralled 22 digs in 16 games played. 2005: Was named the NIRSA Division III Libero of the Year leading the Titans to a NIRSA Division III semifinal appearance ... Was named the WVC junior varsity Libero of the Year helping the team to their second straight state championship and third straight regular season title ... Scooped up 206 digs in 109 games played for a 1.89 digs per game average. 2004: Was a member of the WVC Division II team that won the junior varsity regular season and WVC state championship titles ... Had 115 kills on 294 attempts on 77 games played ... In WVC action tallied 161 assists, 16 digs, 16 service aces and 12 blocks in 16 games played. 2005: Was named the WVC junior varsity Player of the Year ... Ran the Titans offense that loss to eventual national champion University of Arizona II in the semifinals of the NIRSA Division III championship ... Dished out 1,045 assist in 124 games played for 8.50 assists per game ... Also collected 81service aces, 174 digs, 82 kills and 49 blocks. 2004: Was a member of the WVC Division II team that won the junior varsity regular season and WVC state championship titles ... Named first-team All-WVC for the junior varsity conference ... Led the team with 856 assists and 48 service aces ... Totaled 66 kills on 231 attempts, 139 digs and 41 blocks in 96 games played ... Matt Lewin
Career: Prior to the 2006 season has totaled 1,042 kills, 180 service aces, 378 blocks and 2,089 kill attempts in 544 games played. 2006: Helped the team to the Midwest Ten regular season and tournament championship and the WVC regular season title for the first time since 1997 ... In WVC action tallied 82 kills, hit .417 and collected 24 blocks. 2005: Named Wisconsin Volleyball Conference Honorable Mention ... In 157 games played totaled 313 kills in 593 attempts for a .366 hitting percentage ... Also contributed 94 blocks, 45 digs and 25 service aces ... Was the starting right side hitter for the Division I national runner-ups last season. 2004: Named Honorable Mention All-American after leading the Titans to a fifth place finish at the NIRSA national championships ...Named Wisconsin Volleyball Conference Honorable Mention ... Scooped up 15 digs and had six service aces. 2005: Helped the Titans to the NIRSA national championship match with steady defensive and aggressive serving ... Scooped up 142 digs in 146 games played ... Also contributed 41 kills on 84 attempts and had 35 service aces. 2004: Named to the WVC state championship all-tournament team ... Helped the Titans to the WVC state championship crown by averaging one service ace per game in 17 tournament games ... Collected 205 kills in 428 attempts for a .292 hitting percentage ... Was second on the team with 97 assists and had 220 digs and 54 blocks ... Had 63 service aces on only 43 serving errors ... Had a team leading 17 digs against Marquette University ... Justin Sanders
2006: Starting defensive specialist that saw limited time in the early stages of the season due to a broken wrist ... Has 22 digs in 12 games played in WVC play. 2005: Newcomer to the sport that started as a libero for the Division III team ... Cat like defense that helped the Division III team to a fourth consecutive semifinals at the WVC state championships ... Scooped up 102 digs and added six service aces.

Personal: Graduated from Pulaski High School ... Three-sport athlete in high school participating in football, basketball and track and field ... Will graduate in the spring of 2006 with a degree in economics ... Son of Sindi and John.

Mike Semrad
Career: Prior to 2006 season he has slammed down 1,008 kills on 1,847 attempts in 494 games played ... Has 503 blocks to top the all-time charts at UW-Oshkosh. 2006: Was named All-Midwest Ten First-Team and a Hoosier-Illini All-Star ... Helped the team to the Midwest Ten regular season and tournament championship and the WVC regular season title for the first time since 1997 ... Kick started the Titans to the Hoosier -Illini Classic tournament title, the team's first since 1997 ... In WVC action has amassed 97 kills on 151 for a .483 hitting percentage ... Has also stuffed 48 opponent attacks in 36 game played. 2005: Was named NIRSA Division I All-American First Team helping the Titans to their best team finish in history ... Garnered his first All-WVC First Team selection and was named All-Midwest Ten Honorable Mention ... Finished the season with 341 kills on 549 attempts for a .499 hitting percentage ... Also had 157 blocks, including 32 solo stuffs in 150 games played. 2004: Amassed 330 kills on 614 attempts to finish with a .379 hitting percentage ... Brian Sigrist
2006: Is the starting setter for the Division III team and will play defensive specialist for the Division II team at the NIRSA Division III national championships ... In WVC play has 246 assists in 25 games played and 15 service aces. 2005: Led the Division III team to a 3rd place finish at the WVC junior varsity state championship ... Provided tough serving and defense at the NIRSA Division III national championship that resulted in a team third place finish ... Tallied 103 digs playing in 79 games played for the Division II team and 356 assists, 102 digs and 43 service aces in 89 games played for the Division III squad. 2004: Was a member of the WVC Division II team that won the junior varsity regular season and WVC state championship titles ... Was named the WVC Libero of the Year ... Collected 101 digs, 18 kills on 62 attempts and 16 service aces in 84 games played. 2003: Helped the Division III team to a 3rd place finish at the WVC junior varsity state championship ... Tallied 81 digs, 33 assists, five service aces and nine kills in 28 games played for the Division III team ... Suffered season-ending leg injury half way through the season.

Andrew Sederberg
Career: Prior to the 2006 season has totaled 6,588 assists, 937 digs, 743 kills, 367 blocks and 259 service aces in 644 games played ... Is the current UW-Oshkosh all-time leader in assists and digs. 2006: Was named the first player in UW-Oshkosh history to be named Midwest Ten Most Valuable Player ... Helped the team to the Midwest Ten regular season and tournament championship and the WVC regular season title for the first time since 1997 ... In WVC play collected 508 assists, 27 service aces, 41 digs and 16 total blocks in 42 games played. 2005: Named NIRSA Division I All-American First-Team ... Led the Titans to a runner-up finish at the NIRSA national championship ... Was named WVC Most Valuable Player ... Was named All-Midwest Ten First-Team for a fourth consecutive season helping the Titan to the tournament title ... Named to the University of Iowa all-tournament team ... Career: Prior to the 2006 season he sat first all-time at UW-Oshkosh in career kills with 2,026, in career kill attempts with 3,866 and in career games played with 722 ... Has also tallied 848 digs, 330 blocks and 265 service aces. 2006: Named All-Midwest Ten All-Honorable Mention selection after being named First Team in 2003, 2004 and 2005 ... Was named to the Hoosier-Illini Classic All-Star game and helped the Titans to the tournament title for the first time since 1997 ... Helped the team to the Midwest Ten regular season and tournament championship and the WVC regular season title for the first time since 1997 ... In WVC matches has totaled 119 kills for a .379 hitting percentage, 40 digs, 15 service aces and 17 blocks in 36 games played. 2005: Named NIRSA Division I All-American First Team ... In WVC action has 44 kills while hitting .362 in 16 games played ... Has 10 blocks including four solo stuffs. 2005: Starting middle blocker for the WVC regular season and state championship Division II team ... Unique hitting approach that helped the Titans to a team best third place finish at the NIRSA Division III national championship ... Contributed 153 kills on 398 attempts in 99 games played with 53 blocks. 2004: Helped the Division II team to the junior varsity regular season and WVC state championship titles ...Amassed 82 kills in 198 attempts for a .268 hitting percentage ... Also contributed 38 digs and 38 blocks ... Had seven kills against Binghamton University and matched a career-high three service aces against Truman State University at the NIRSA Division III championships. 2003: Helped the Division III team to a 3rd place finish at the WVC junior varsity state championships ...
