Brandon Kirkland Named WVC Player of Week (3-23-06)
Brandon Kirkland, a senior setter for UW-Oshkosh II is the March 17-23, 2006 Division II Wisconsin Volleyball Conference player of the week. Kirkland led the UW-Oshkosh II team to a 30-28, 30-22, 33-31 hard fought win over Lakeland College II in a non-conference match-up on the Muskies home floor. Despite running a 5-1 offense, Kirkland had nine kills. He also dished out 35 assists and had five digs and two blocks. The Titans improved to 18-1-1 on the year and remained undefeated against teams other than those in NIRSA Division I.
