Jeff Thomas Named WVC Player of Week (3-23-06)
Jeff Thomas, a senior leftside hitter for UW-Oshkosh is the March 17-23, 2006 Division I Wisconsin Volleyball Conference player of the week. Thomas led UW-Oshkosh, the #1 ranked team in NIRSA Division I to a 30-26, 30-26, 23-20, 24-30, 15-13 win over #2 ranked Lakeland College on the Muskies home court. With the win the Titans secured the WVC regular season outright title, their first since the 1997 season. Thomas led the team with 22 kills and tallied two service aces, six digs and three blocks and did not commit a hitting error in the three games the Titans won.
