Oshkosh Honors Four Graduating Seniors (4-1-09)
The Oshkosh men's volleyball team honored it's four graduating seniors at the last home match of the season on Tueday, March 31 against UW-La Crosse in front of family and friends. Below is a list of their accomplishments and future plans.

Mike Callaway

Mike Callaway, a 6-2 right side hitter from Waukesha West High School has been a key ingredient to the UW-Oshkosh Division II team's success the last five seasons. Mike, the Titans team president for the last two years has helped UW-Oshkosh to five WVC Division II regular season titles and a chance to claim their fourth WVC state championship this weekend.

Mike was named to the WVC Division II first-team in 2005, 2007 and 2008 and was a member of the WVC all-tournament team in 2007. Mike has helped the Titans to success in the NIRSA Division III, helping the team to four, top-five finishes, including a runner-up result in 2006.

Mike will graduate in May with a degree in supply chain and operations management and has already secured a job with Target Corporation.


Mike Clark

Mike Clark, a 6-3 left side hitter from West Allis Hale High School has been a member of the team for two seasons. A participant on the men's Division II team, Mike helped the Titans to their seventh straight Wisconsin Volleyball Conference regular season conference title earlier this year.

Mike will graduate in May with a degree in supply chain and operations management.


John Erickson

John Erickson, a 6-4 right side hitter from Ripon found a home at UW-Oshkosh after beginning his career at UW-Whitewater and has become one of the most decorated players in UW-Oshkosh history.

John has helped UW-Oshkosh continue its streak of seven straight Midwest Ten Conference regular season titles, while being named first-team all-conference in 2007 and 2008 and second-team in 2009.

In the WVC, John has been named first-team all-conference the last two seasons and in 2007 he was named a NIRSA All-American, helping the team to the Division I national title.

John, who maintains a 3.49 cumulative grade point average, will graduate in May with a degree in English literature and will start his P.H.D. fellowship at Claremont Graduate University in California in the fall.


Mike Murphy

Mike Murphy, a 6-3 middle blocker from Richland Center High School joined the team after spending two years at UW-Richland Center. Starting last year on the Division III team, Mike has become a key contributor to this year's Division II team.

Mike will graduate in December of 2009 with a degree in biology and has a 3.87 cumulative grade point average. After earning his degree, Mike will be attending Palmer College of Chiropractic.
