Brunelli Leads Oshkosh III past Lakeland II (2-4-10) The UW-Oshkosh III men’s volleyball team won a tight first set and built a commanding lead in the second set to sweep Lakeland College II (25-21, 25-18) on Thursday (Feb. 4) in Kolf Sports Center. Ahead 21-20 in set one, UW-Oshkosh III (10-3) got two kills from Steve Brunelli (So. – Greenfield) to push out to a 23-20 advantage before hanging on for the victory. In set two, the Titans built leads of 12-2 and 15-6 in coasting to the win in its home opener. Brunelli led the Titans with seven kills, while Alex Reynolds (Sr. – South Milwaukee) added four put-downs. Mike Heup (Jr. – Oconomowoc) dished out 16 assists and had three digs and Tim Spengler (So. – Greenfield) had four service aces. Brian Fox (Jr. – Fond du Lac) scooped up seven digs and Andy Collins (Jr. – Germantown) and Lang Lee Lee (Fr. – Kaukauna) each had two blocks.   More News
