Updated Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 4:00pm CT   Alumni Weekend '08 On January 11-12, 2008, Oshkosh Volleyball will celebrate the 10th anniversary of alumni weekend. Come help us celebrate the past year's achievements: Another NIRSA Division I National Championship for the men and another NCAA Division III tournament appearance for the women. As always, the weekend starts on Friday, Jan. 11 at The Bar of Oshkosh with the weekend kick-off party and Sheephead tournament. All team members (21 and older), alumni, family and friends are welcome. Registration is from 6:30 - 7:00pm and cost is $15. In past years, a Texas hold'em tournament has also been run if Sheephead isn't your thing. If you don't play cards, don't worry, there are plenty of others that will be there who don't play either. Due to the Packers playoff game, our Saturday activities have changed drastically. We will have a coed sand tournament starting at 10:30am at The Bar of Oshkosh. There will be no alumni matches this year so people can watch the football game (3:30 kick off) and have more time to visit with each other. After the Packer game, we will meet up at El Aztecas (the old Tumbleweed) at 8:00pm for a Mexican style fajita buffet and some warm up drinks. From there, the usual stops are in play and the party hits full force. Alumni Dues: $45 (Includes coed reverse tournament, alumni gift, dinner and drinks.) $30 (Special price for those still in college. Receive the same as above.) $30 (For those that can't make it but would like to contribute and receive the alumni gift.) $20 (For all family, friends and spouses that want to take part in the tournament, food and drinks.)
