UW-Oshkosh Dominates Marquette University II (3-25-17)
UW-Oshkosh, ranked number one in the latest Division I National Collegiate Volleyball Federation poll, made short work of the Marquette University II, 25-17, 25-15, 25-19 in Wisconsin Volleyball Conference action on Friday (March 24) in Milwaukee. Both teams are in the WVC Division I conference.
Peter Nordel (Sr. - Torrance, Calif.) led the team with eight kills and added three blocks. Jake Martin (So. - New Lenox, Ill.) scooped up 10 digs and Sammy Pedersen (Sr. - Muskego) added eight digs and four kills and Travis Hudson (Sr. - Wauwatosa) had six kills and nine assists.
Brandon Schmidt (Gr. - Kaukauna) slammed down five kills, Joe Kuchler (Sr. - Muskego ) had seven digs and Devin Hudson (So. - Wauwatosa) had three blocks. The Titans remain one-half match ahead of Marquette University as they attempt to win their ninth straight WVC regular season title.
