Oshkosh II Breezes at Home (3-5-17)
The UW-Oshkosh II men’s volleyball team had little trouble going undefeated by sweeping three opponents on Saturday (March 4) at the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference Division II play date in Oshkosh. The Titans beat UW-Stout, 25-12, 25-14, Carroll University, 25-16, 25-22 and UW-Whitewater II, 25-9, 25-10.

UW-Oshkosh II (23-1 / 6-0 WVC) slammed down 23 kills and only had five hitting errors against the Blue Devils. Braeden Melton (Sr. – Beloit) led the Titans with eight kills and Adam Landgraf (Sr. – Kenosha) dished out 21 assists. Mitch Lahmann (Sr. – Wauwatosa) had seven digs, four kills and three blocks and Eli Miller (So. – Burlington) had four digs.

Landgraf racked up 30 assists in the Titans win over the Pioneers as the Titans had 33 total kills in the two-set sweep. Lahmann and Mike Starzec (Sr. – Buffalo Grove, Ill.) had seven kills, Melton had six put aways and Ryan Albers (Jr. – Appleton) and John Collins (So. – New Berlin) each had four kills. Sam Moua (Sr. – Appleton) scooped up eight digs, Landgraf had six digs and Alex Basting (So. – Franklin) had a solo block.

In its win over the Warhawks the Titans hit .548 with Lahmann leading the charge with seven kills. Landgraf dialed up 15 assists and six digs, Basting led the team with nine digs and Moua and Starzec each had five digs.
